The Fundación Amigos del Instituto Pedagógico Nacional is a nonprofit organization established in 1997 to support the institution in academic, cultural, and athletic areas. To this end, it provides student welfare services including meals, transportation, textbooks, school supplies, and uniforms.
The Foundation has managed the school cafeteria since 2022 and the food kiosks since 2004.
In 2026, the cost of the meal service for IPN students under an annual contract is as follows:
Kindergarten-3rd grade: COP$2,120,000
4th-11th grades: COP$2,250,000
The Foundation offers the option to pay in 10 equal installments through Mi Pago Amigo platform, at Banco Caja Social branches, through banking correspondents, or at the cafeteria cashier’s window with service available to parents on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
For daily or weekly payment options, the cost per lunch is:
Kindergarten-3rd grade: COP$13,000
4th-11th grades: COP$13,500
Daily and/or weekly payments must be reported in advance no later than the Friday preceding the corresponding week.
SERVICES IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SECTION
Services in this section are provided under an annual contract at a cost of COP$3,200,000.
Based on these rates, we would like to clarify that there is no increase compared to last year. Rather, these rates are a result of an analysis of the necessary costs and expenses to provide the service. This analysis took into account current conditions regarding quotes and projections for input costs, infrastructure service quotes, indirect costs, unforeseen expenses and increases, the tax burden, and human resource costs for 2026.
